Putin Just Lost the Last Highway to Crimea

Navy SEAL Chuck Pfarrer & Jason Smart break down Russia's latest fumbles as it loses control of Crimea and the war brewing in Moscow

Former Navy SEAL Chuck Pfarrer and Jason Smart break down Russia’s latest battlefield failures as Ukraine turns Putin’s prized Crimean fortress into an exposed liability. The Kremlin spent years presenting the peninsula as an unassailable anchor of Black Sea power and a permanent threat against Ukraine. Instead, Ukrainian precision strikes are forcing Russian forces to protect airfields, radar arrays, supply routes, and bridge links that were never supposed to face this level of sustained pressure.

Crimean Bridge - Wikipedia

This is the Crimea (Kerch) Bridge to Russia. Take a good look, cause in the blink of an eye it will join the Flagship Moskva to be a coral reef.

Every strike in Crimea raises the cost of Moscow’s occupation and exposes how much Russian control has weakened. Commanders now have to move aircraft, hide equipment, stretch air defenses, reroute logistics, and explain why Putin’s untouchable trophy has become increasingly vulnerable. What began as the ultimate symbol of Russian dominance is now draining Russian resources, military capacity, and Kremlin credibility.

The deeper crisis is that Russia’s problems are spreading far beyond the peninsula. Putin gambled on a fast victory and instead locked his country into years of attrition, sanctions, manpower strain, elite fear, and a security system turning inward. The invasion was launched to break Ukraine, but the pressure is now moving back toward Moscow.
